Dr Andy Stamatiou MBBS FRANZCOG

Dr Andy Stamatiou is an Brisbane Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist who has been working in private practice since April 2010.

Dr. Stamatiou graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990 and has over 32 years experience as a doctor. He commenced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001 and was granted a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2009.

After 13 years in private practice, Dr. Stamatiou has now ceased obstetrics. His women’s health practice encompasses gynaecological services (including heavy periods, menopause, endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse and incontinence). Dr. Stamatiou performs a large range of vaginal and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures and is able to offer the full gamut of fertility services (including IVF).

Dr. Stamatiou cares about each patient individually, cares about your health, about your well being and about having the outcome you desire.

He works with you each step of the way, supports you and will respond to questions with knowledge, honesty and compassion. As a father, Dr. Stamatiou has a deep understanding of family and is therefore compassionate to your wishes.

Brisbane Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist, Dr. Stamatiou is a member of the Australian Medical Association, the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society and the Fertility Society of Australia. He is a clinical lecturer and examiner for the University of Queensland, School of Medicine.
